It wasn't me!

I was putting the kids to bed the other night and I said, "Oh, boy, it's a mess in here!"

Orlando popped up from the blanket burrow he had made, "It wasn't me!"

"Or," he reconsidered, "Maybe it was me. But I didn't mean it!"

  1. In Zen we call this, "silence like thunder." It cuts through everything, stopping all other noise.

  2. Silence? I do not know this word of which you speak. I must go and ponder it's significance.

    And does that "I didn't mean it" excuse work in other places? Like speeding tickets and stuff? 'Cause that'd be cool.
